Registered users can:
- create playlists
- add or remove songs from playlists
- add, for each song, some emotions, assigning for each emotion a number from 1 (not at all) to 5 (very)
Playlists
The user’s playlists can be viewed, once logged in, from the menu on the left, by clicking on User playlist
. Here is an example of what the home of a logged in user might look like.
Note: during the first use of Emotional Songs, when you still haven’t playlists, when you click on
My playlists
nothing will appears. You have to create your first playlist: after that you will see it inMy playlists
page.
Create a playlist
To create a playlist, once logged in, just go to the menu on the left, and then click on My playlists
.
A page like the following will appear:
From here just press on + Create new playlist
, and when the following screen appears
you have to choose the name of the playlist, as well as select the songs you want to add, also searching them through the search bar.
To add a song to your playlist, click the +
button. If you have reconsidered and want to remove the song now, press the -
button.
Warning: once created, the playlist is not editable! You will not be able to insert other songs.1
Once you have finished selecting songs, press on Create new playlist
. The newly created playlist will be added to user’s playlists.
Assign emotions
Once you create playlists, you can give an emotional judgement to each song. To assign the judgement to a song, press the Vote
button next to the song title.
From the screen that appears, for each emotion you can choose the rating from a scale ranging from 1 (not at all) to 5 (a lot). In addition to the vote you can write a text comment of up to 256 characters for each emotion.
At the end of the selection, press on Vote
